Sheiba Optical Industries is a leading manufacturer, importer, exporter and supplier of a wide range of Optical lenses, Bifocals, Multi-focals, 'D' Bifocals, 'C' Bifocals, Tri-Focals, Round Segments, etc. Approximately a half of our products is exported to the Middle East and African countries. We are a proud member of the Federation of Indian Export Organisation (FIEO), successfully marching ahead with our world-class product line. We also import certain types of other lenses from reputed vendors.
Sheiba Optical Industries started its production of Fused Bifocals in 1975 using high precision techniques initiated by Dr. Aqilur Rahman, under the guidance of his father, the late Jamilur Rahman, a leading personality in the field of optics. His grandfather was also in the optical profession since 1901. Prior to starting his work, Dr. Rahman had worked in the UK and Germany in renowned firms.
In 1978, the company expanded to producing photo chromatic Round segment bifocals. At that time, the technology of fusing photo chromatic was not known in India. The same was the case with Flat-top bifocals, which were manufactured initially by Sheiba in 1979.

Quality & Infrastructure
The company's factory is situated at Patpar Ganj, covering an area of 8,000 sq. ft. It is fully equipped to meet rigid requirements and the most demanding levels of precision work. Now, the firm has started the manufacture of Progressives (No Line Bifocal) and 'D' Bifocals in a wide range, including photo chromatic and high index. For our manufacturing purposes, all furnaces utilized have been equipped with automatic temperature controllers with high accuracy.
Sheiba Optical Industries is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and for this reason, we have acquired the latest checking and measuring equipments and tools for rigid inspection and quality control purposes. The company is also a well known stockist of high index lenses & poly carbonate lenses.
